Johnniey
My mother it 75 and when playing golf here gets a shortness of breath. We any to the doc, who suggested it was asthma. Is it possible to get this at her age? The same happened last year but age seems ok when at home playing golf on Scotland. Could it be due to the hotter weather or something else? Thanyaburi Mac
Sure can get it at an older age. Do a Google for: adult onset asthma Mac
Sheryl
It is possible but unless she had a thorough evaluation by a cardiologist I would not settle for that diagnosis. By thorough I mean including a chest xray and exercise stress test. if she is a smoker onset of COPD also a possibility
uptheos
If she's out playing golf then make sure she drinks LOADS of water! It's not pretty to see someone with COPD, especially in the later stages. Get a thorough test as mentioned above.
