For the last 10 years we renewewd our Non-O visa in Germany.

This year the until now helpful consulate wanted proof that my Brit. husband has a residence in Germany. We scraped through this time but were advised that he has to apply in London next year. We have no link to U.K. The other option which was pointed out was to get it renewed in Bkk. The consulate could not tell us the requirements for an ext. in Bkk. 

Is anybody on this forum who has done this extension locally?
