TRAT: -- The family of the Thailand’s tallest woman who died on August 27 of high blood pressure has agreed to donate her body to Siriraj hospital for study by medical students.

 

A close relative of Ms Malee Duangdee who was measured 2.07 metres high when she was 17 making her the world’s tallest woman in accordance Guinness Book of World Records in 2009 told the media during a religious ceremony at Wat Chang Klua in Muang district of Trat on Wednesday that her family had informed provincial authorities to notify the Siriraj hospital about their wish to donate Malee’s body to the hospital for study.

What a nice gesture. There is some hope for humanity after all. 

I remember my first cadaver. Six foot eight. His liver was so huge. We didn't know what it was. Decades later. Two of the guys are well respected surgeons.
