Registering my address in Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi i have been livivg in Thailand 12 months now on tourist visas, last time i entered Thailand at Krabi i was pulled by immigration and asked questions regarding if i am working etc, having satisfied the officer he said my landlady must register me and my wife or it could be awkward when i come to extend my visa i told my landlady she said no you dont have to its ok.

On previous entries into Thailand i have used a resort name as my address, the house we live in now is a private owned house, anyody had any experiance with this matter or point me in the right direction thanks  jez

Let's try this in an appropriate forum.

In a nutshell, yes, your landlady must report your presence.

Someone will be along with the form reference and penalty (for her).
