Pity he didn't or couldn't drive home, could have got the family driver to put his hand up while he sobered up and got daddy and family to undertake some intricate dance  moves while he packed his bags and headed  for swampy and the first flight to Singapore.

Yes - RIP to the officer......

One would think in this case, at least the deceased was not dragged for several hundred meters. Wonder if the punishment will reflect this?

Unfortunately the punishment for such a crime is so inconsistent... for some if they are rich or well connected they can even avoid a court hearing.

Bet unless this guy's family is loaded or well connected his bail will be set a sum he has no chance of raising...

think the problem was he was injured so was harder for him to some how leave the scene. wonder if he will have enough cash to compensate the cops family. maybe i am thinking like a thai but the widow and kids deserve some cash just as much as the killer needs some time in the clink.

I think the other case mentioned must have been compensated in the many millions

other wise the family would have been all over the media for sure even for the not so

rich when payment is paid to all concerned, job done !!..
