I returned to Thailand from England on the 8th of August,my 90 day reporting is due on the 29th September (that was since my last 90 day report).

1.Is my 90 day report due as normal,or does it go 90 days from when I arrived back into the country on the 8th of August?

2.An old friend who worked at a school in Silom used to get a Motorbike Taxi guy to do his 90 day report. Is it possible to get someone else to do it?Ie Wife or an agent?

Cheers

It is a report of staying longer than 90 consecutive days in the country.. If you leave the country on or before the 90th day no report is due.

Your report will be due 90 days from the date you entered the country including that day in the count. Your report will be due on November 6th if you entered on the 8th of August.

You can authorize a person to do your 90 day report for you. They will need a completed TM47 form and your passport to do it.

You also have the options of doing your report online for by mail.

The 90 day count reset when you left/re-entered. Day 1 of the new 90 days was August 8th so your next report is due on November 5th.

Are we sure about this? As the immigration officer told my wife when I completed my 60 day extension ''Don't' forget to do your 90 day report''Which was the 29th September.

Yes. The 90 day report count re-sets every time you leave/re-enter. When you left the country the need to report on September 29th ended. The day you re-entered was day 1 of the next 90 day count.

There is no need to do a  report of staying longer than 90 days in the country unless you stay in the country for 90 consecutive days.

I need to do my 90 day report on Nov. 29. I reentered Thailand on a reentry permit Aug. 31.

Before I left Thailand I had to get a new U.S. Passport because my old one was to full to get reentry stamps and others for traveling.

So now I have my old "canceled" passport with my visa information, and my new passport with my used reentry permit and my new entry date. (note: I did go to immigration with embassy letter to transfer information from old to new... Then after that went and got the reentry permit in my new passport.)

I tried to use the online 90 report with new passport # and entry date and TM6 but could not, it says to report to nearest office.

I imagine I need to go in person because of all my information is new??? Is this true? and if so do I need to bring both passports in and also do I need to make any copies of pages from any of them?

Any help with this is greatly appreciated

Thank You

Not sure why you go that message if you used your new passport number and TM6 number. Perhaps a problem with the site when your tried. You are still within the 7 day before the report is due period you might want to try again.

You will just need your new passport when you go to immigration. Your old passport info is on a stamp done by immigration in your new passport when you had your stamps transferred.

Im not sure too... before I left I always used the online report but that was with my old passport and older arrival card TM6.

I was wondering because its all new information including new passport number that it does not correspond with my name in their computer program. I tried yesterday and today during their business hours but same message. I really didn't want to go in person unless I had to, because I have to do my extension of stay in Jan. for Marriage.

The database accessed only has info from your last entry to the country. If you get a new passport you cannot do online 90 day reports until you do a new entry to the country.

You might want to try after business hours. The system operates 24 hours a day unless the extranet goes down.

Ok I will try after business hours.

I just tried now and get a message like this:

"For further information regarding 90 day notification service, please contact a immigration branch office in your resident area"
