Black Cord to repair my Beach Chairs (Pattaya)

Featured Replies

I have a couple of those reclining Fabric Beach Chairs you see everywhere (pic attached) the black suspension cord has broken in a few places and i would like to repair them. Doesn't appear too difficult. I cannot find black cord anywhere :( anybody any ideas.  The logical places like Thai watsadu, HomePro and Homeworks don't appear to stock it.  (I get the usual blank stares and 'mai mee' response when I ask the staff).  Anybody any  suggestions

Polypropylene rope or clothesline. Santi hardware opposite Foodland on Klang or the other hardware emporium on the corner of Lengkee and Third Road.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I will check these out :)

Another suggestion, albeit maybe more expensive. there's a decent selection of ropes in the Hiking & Climbing section at the newly opened Decathlon, upstairs beside Tesco-Lotus on Pattaya Nua.

But you can also buy polypropylene rope in the hardware section next door at Tesco-Lotus as well. If they have it, chances are Big C has it too.
