BANGKOK: -- A mother has appealed to the Crime Suppression Division to find a man she says raped her 22 year old daughter in Cairo.

"Bang-orn" was armed with a photograph of the man she says assaulted her daughter on September 4th, reported Sanook.

She told the CSD that the man attacked her daughter at a party in her lodgings in the Egyptian capital and then escaped back to Thailand two days later with the help of a local man.

The Egyptian police were investigating the case and have sent details to their Thai counterparts indicating that the man in question lives in the Rama 2 area of Bangkok.

The victim is a hotel employee.

....again....only alleged....

Alleged Rapist

Surely, he'll be extradited back to the country he committed the so-called  crime. Otherwise, would be rapists would have a field day with this news.  :coffee1:

Does there not need there to be an extradition agreement between the two countries?

Perhaps the publicity will motivate the local police, had the mother not got involved I fear nothing would have happened.

A insensitive troll post has been removed as well as the replies.

At least the mother cares, the more times this happens other mothers might heed

and gradually things might change, (I know wishful thinking)
