The World Poker Tour (WPT), a group founded in the US and which organises international poker tournaments, has announced that it will host two events in Cambodia around New Year, the organisation said last week.

The WPT National Thailand tournament will take place at the Holiday Palace Casino and Resort in Poipet in late December with a $1,100 buy-in.

The National Cambodia tournament will be held at Queenco Hotel and Casino in Sihanoukville in early January with a buy-in of $1,485.

Geez,it brings tears to my eyes.I havent had a good game of Draw or Hold 'em for a few years now.The Cambodians sure know how to bring the tourists in.I would love to visit just for the tournament.I wonder what the 'sit down' price is.Do  they play to Hoyles rules ?or is it Cambodian style.(if they have a style.)

It took me 5 years in Patts before i found another 3 who could play kalooki.
