NONG KHAI: -- Police and local administration authorities in Nong Khai province launched an extensive dragnet for 10 Uighur adults after they broke open the detention centre at Nong Khai immigration office and escaped under heavy rains last night.

The jailbreak was disclosed at 7 am today after immigration police alerted local police and sought help to hunt down the 10 Uighur adults after they disappeared from the detention centre at the immigration office.

A check of the detention room found that the escapees bent down the iron ceiling grill and drilled a hole in the ceiling.
