Swift justice for a non Ferrari driver.

Two months jail for each cat. Feline rights are starting to improve in Thailand. The U.N will be happy.

Man sentenced to 18 months in jail for brutal torture and killing of nine cats

BANGKOK: -- A motorcycle taxi driver was sentenced to serve 18 months in jail with no suspension after he was found guilty of brutal torture and killing of nine cats.

The Bangkok North Municipal Court sentenced Phanuwat Singsahut, 26, a driver of motorcycle taxi at Soi Thonglor off Sukhumvit road in Bangkok, to four months in prison for each case of torture and killing of the animal.

He was arrested by police in July this year after the “Watchdog Thailand” Facebook page posted complaints by animal lovers that the cats under his care were tortured and killed.

Investigation by police led to his apartment on Soi Mahatthai 13 in Wang Thonglang district where carcasses of the cats were dumped in the apartment’s bin.

Phanuwat pleaded guilty to the charge, saying he sought the cats for raise from a poster on “Homeless Cat Helpers Club” Facebook page.

The club became suspicious after Phanuwat could not be contacted and hence could not follow up if these homeless cats were well or ill-treated by him.

Check his yard for dead relatives.

If those two images of suspect with police are supposed to be the same guy. His jacket doin a great job of hiding that stomach.

Loads of cats in klong prem and Bangkok remand. He will love it.

No sympathy for this guy. Now even a blind can see Thai law is consequent. Killing cats 18 months, light to an  e-cigarette 3 years, killing 2 tourists on the beach nothing, hitting a police, again nothing.....
