Help Required: Key for safe !!

Featured Replies

Hello. I have been an idiot and locked my key in the safe. The number pad died a death a long time ago. Does any one have any HELPFUL ideas on how to open the safe. I know I could probably get a thai to cut me a new key however I was hoping there may be other solutions. If not I might ask KIm Jong Un if I can borrow one of his nukes. Thankyou

You might be able to pick the lock.  It's easier than you think.  Search YouTube to see if it's possible for your situation.

Many digital safes also have ability to operate with external battery source via an input jack somewhere on the keypad.

If it's a cheap safe this will work;

I remember from another thread that there is a specialist shop selling safes.

Somewhere on Pattaya central rd. up from Big C Extra (opposite side)?

Take and picture of your safe and ask a pro.

If it's possible to open "via internet" without key and defect key pad it's good for the bin.

If the safe is locked mechanically i.e with the key.......... the battery - pack- keypad -override thingy won't help.

I went to the shop KhunBENQ  is talking about on Klang it's opposite Foodland /Harbour mall.  (Maybe gone now?)

They will help by calling out the safe makers to your home. This you can do yourself.

In my case it was a "Kingdom" safe.

Good luck.

I had one similar to the one in post 4 that wouldn't open.

I used a hammer and screwdriver and some brute force and had it open in 10 minutes. I broke off the dial and punched through the center.

But that seems unlikely since the key is locked inside the safe. :)

Try picking it yourself. Probably can't; then get a locksmith out as noted above. Hammer might work but then you'll need a new safe. Or it might not work and then you'll need a handyman AND a new safe.

Just a proof how useless these 999 Baht thingies are.

There's a fella in Tesco Lotus (Pattaya Nua) who sells and opens safes. He's right outside the True shop.
