September 23, 20169 yr Went to do my second 1-year retirement extension at Phuket immi yesterday. Fortunately I stopped by the day before and was told that in addition to the usual bank letter, 3 month account statement, updated bank book and foreigner information sheet, I also needed a photo of myself in front of my registered residence. This is a new requirement and may be unique to Phuket. Seems the new colonel in charge of Phuket is running a tight ship. I was told that all copies need to be in the same orientation, as he does not want his officers having to turn the sheets around when reviewing your application. The good news is, that the place runs very smoothly right now. The annual extensions are now done in a separate room (103), away from the general circus. I was in and out of there in under an hour... badda-bing, badda boom! Kudos to the farang volunteers at Phuket immigration, who are really helpful! Edited September 23, 20169 yr by fstarbkk

I was giving information to other users here that there is much more information about this available on the forum. Including size of photos required, how to print, etc... so, just trying to be helpful. Sorry to have wasted your time. Edited September 24, 20169 yr by stevenl
