They may have to dismember this guy to get him out of the building.

200-kg ? I guess Americans are not the only ones with obesity problems.

Frequently brought women up to his room? Those poor girls certsinly earned their wages.

Couldn't agree more , disgustingly obese .

Now hold on a minute here.....where is the wallet??? and where is the money?... and where are the valuables?

Also check the drinks and used bottles of water or beer or alcohol or used  glasses with liquid residue for any traces of knock out drug known to cause heart attacks.

Just saying ...but I know the police there will not do a proper investigation to confirm the cause of death rather just write up a basic report and have the body removed and off they go for their next meal of Som Tum...as usual

Cheers

R.I.P. to the unfortunate man, but it seems there may have been a major error in leading with his alleged weight.

Look at the news story link and tell us that he was really 200 kg.

Now a 100 kg. western person is extremely common, but a 200 kg. much more rare.

In fact based on typical male height, 100 kg. would be an obese BMI (not morbidly obese) and comprise a significant percentage of modern western populations.

No dignity in death in this country, huh?

30 stone isn't uncommon these days!

There were no injuries to his body and no obviously signs of a struggle. Case already solved.

We'll never find out if somebody has "helped a little bit" that the poor guy died.

And the "200 kg" headline is really insane.

It's worth to have a look at "farangdeath:"http://www.farang-deaths.com/

You would think the 200 kg part was the most important if you had to get him out of there. If there is a balcony I would use a crane. RIP Young Man.

200 kg is anorexic to Americans

I was really wondering how much he weighed......

Better for everyone to accept he died of an unexpected heart attack. Forget his weight, his drinking and sexual habits, his women and whether there was drugs in his system, and an absence of any reported (non) money in his room - just agree with the RTP verdict and on to the next case.

  RIP.

From the pictures, he seemed to be more than 14 stone (200 pounds) and less than 30 stone (200 kgs). So maybe that was incorrect reporting (as is the norm on here).

How about somewhere in between?

Usually - why do you get dressed after sex to go to the bathroom  :shock1:

To cover things up a little.

Poor guy, but he presumably enjoyed his last few days.

That much fat on the outside would be a sure indicator of considerable arterial plaque on the inside and a time bomb ticking for any physical exertion.  Sounds like "he died doing what he loved the most".      R.I.P. poor guy.

What's disgusting here is people buying the sensationalist headline here as the truth.

Skepticism of the Thai "press" here is required.

I'd say much closer to the 200 pounds than 200 kg.

Basically a relatively "normal" moderately obese westerner.

Not that morbidly obese people of 200 kg. don't exist, but how about some real facts, or if the press doesn't know, just say nothing, or something like using the word obese, which would have been accurate.

Think about it ... where did they get that absurd 200 kg. number? Some gossip? Lost in translation? Do you think they brought in a huge horse weighing machine in there?

These kinds of mistakes happen all the time here ... Austrians labeled Australians ... it goes on and on ..

Sad that the guy died, although it sounds as if he was having a good time despite his weight.  I had to laugh at Sanemax's comment though about where the woman disappeared to:-

"They may find her when they lift him up"

A friend of mine died on my apartment floor in Bkk in 2013. When I got home and found him at 5am he too was naked( people do sleep that way--not usually in the bathroom tho) Anyway called the cops and went through all the procedure , cost me a few quid

to deal with the embassy, hospital svcs and temple for his cremation, and I was never told the results of the autopsy.

I suppose they figured it was too much trouble and nothing to be earned from it.

He was a very good friend for many years, but he's where he habituated ( Pattaya ) doesn't need to worry about the formalities now.

And for the hell of it--He had had sex with a woman at about 8pm-she was a friend of mine and I was there .

I believe you certainly based on that picture which was unfortunately published. But that's how it is here with the so called press.

I have heard to the contrary; that 'the girls' consider obese clients to be 'easy job' 'cause they (the clients) can't do much so don't expect much and certainly can't get their money's worth.  Don't forget that to 'the girls', generally speaking, selling sex to foreigners is only a job so the quicker the job is over, the better.

I have heard that is also the benefit to getting old guys as customers

They must curse Viagra for its ability to create "staying power" .
