And it's quite probable that he would have spent 17billion baht to fight bangkok's traffic jams had the Army stayed in their barracks where they belong.

Thailand wouldn't have a sky train or Suvarnabhumi Airport if it weren't for Thaksin. That's a fact.

Swampy is a mess and he made billions out it. Skytrain had been on the cards for decades and Toksin had nothing to do with it, it opened before he was PM under Chuan.

And what about the 2,500+ people that he had murdered?

Get your facts straight before you defend the indefensible.

I'm stuck in traffic as I post this....

I've posted on 50+ threads until now and I'm not even 200m from my place.

Naughty boy, don't you know it is illegal to use a mobile when driving. Shame on you! You never see Thai women (or men) do that do you.

Immediately fine yourself 200B and give to the nearest policeman!

National police chief: traffic condition has improved in city

BANGKOK: -- Traffic condition in Bangkok has improved with motorists being able to shorten their normal travelling time by car by between 30-45 minutes on average, Pol Gen Chakthip Chaichinda, the national police chief, claimed on Monday after ten days of campaign launched by the police to solve traffic congestion problem in the city.

Really? I haven't noticed any difference......:cheesy::cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

Perhaps the fact that there are "53 related agencies" who had to be involved in a meeting to solve the problem is actually the problem?

Call me an optimist, but whenever there is police presence, the traffic situation has indeed improved.
I just can speak for Vibhavadi and Lat Phrao Road.
