Hi everyone , 

So i need to extend my  Non Immigrant O visa for 1 year at Prathum Immigration (I'm a foreign female married to Thai national) .. and i'm unsure about what documents i need to bring. Is it necessary for a foreign female to show bank statements etc. Could anybody give me some info about what exact documents i need. I've also heard they're really fussy and not very cooperative at Pathum , however i can't go to Chaeng Watthana because my husbands's house is registered to Lam Luk Ka , Pathum Thani. 

 

Please help me if you can :) 

 

You will not need to show any financial proof but your husband will likely be asked to show some proof of income.

Here is a general list of the required documents.

 

Unless you are applying at Bangkok you will need 2 sets of copies attached to 2 TM7 application.forms.

Copies of your passport photo page and every page that has any stamp or visa for Thailand on it. Copy of TM6 departure card.

Marriage certificate and a updated Kor Ror 2 marriage registry (Kor Ror 22 for foreign marriages)

Copies of your husband's house book registry and ID card.

Photos of you and your husband in and around the house. One must show you both with the house number shown in it. The number of photos needed varies by office.

Map to your residence from the nearest main road or street.

Proof of residence if not living where your husband's house book is for.

Some offices may want witnesses when you apply.

To add to Joe's excellent information, Pathumthani immigration does require witnesses.

The Immigration staff at Sam Khok (Pathumthani) are usually very helpful. Best to go midweek if possible.

I couldn't agree more, They are extremely helpful in my view.
