Been on  marriage yearly extensions for the last 8 years.

Getting divorced so the plan is to go and get a non multi o before signing the divorce papers.

Question : Which embassy can I obtain this multiple O visa, proof of funds is not an issue.

Thats what I thought, wanted to avoid that one and head to KL. Was wondering if KL still does multiples with proof of funds ?

KL is not a good place to go for any type of Visa.

If Savanakhet is the only option I guess I'm better of buying the Elite card I suppose. Laos is a long travel from the South of Thailand.

You can get one easily from Penang.  THB400K in the bank needed.

 

Do you have the funds for a retirement extension?

 

Isn't there a route to change prematurely from marriage to retirement extension without leaving the country?

Anybody knows?

• You won't get a Multiple Entry Non 'O' based on marriage from KL.
• They do issue them at the Consulate in Penang with proof of funds. A minimum of 400K.
• If you're over 50 and can show 800K in the bank for 3 moths, or a 65K pm certified income, or a combination of the two you could change the reason for your extension from marriage to retirement when you divorce is finalised.

Another question. Once I get divorced, and want to marry again lets say a week or month later is this allowed or is this like a waiting period ? I think I read something about a waiting period once ?Not sure though.

I think the waiting period is for women, in case they are pregnant.
