What Type Of Job Could My Farang Dad Get In Thailand?

Featured Replies

My Dad and mom (who's Thai) are considering moving from the US to Thailand.

My Dad was fairly good at academics and managed to finish law school and become an attorney. He's studying for an MBA part-time and thus should be able to get an MBA in finance/international business soon.

Anyway, I'm wondering what type of job could my Dad get in Thailand that would still allow him a Western salary?

Heh, so I guess it really depends on connections?

He was considering becoming a lecturer/professor of business/law, so that's what he may go with.

If he is going to live in Bangkok, tell him to send his CV to the following e-mail at Chula University:

[email protected]

I'll pick it up from there and get in touch direct if we have any openings for him. :o

He might be able to find a role either consulting to an international law firm or working for one in some capacity.

Tell him to PM me. I might be able to help.

How are you today?
