snoop1130 Posted September 30, 2016 Share Posted September 30, 2016 New Phuket governor arrives Chutharat Plerin PHUKET:-- Newly appointed Phuket Governor Chokchai Detamornthan and his wife Raweewan Detamornthan, who is the new president of the Phuket Red Cross, received a warm welcome on their arrival in Phuket this morning. About a hundred people from both government and the private sector showed up to welcome the couple at Phuket airport at 10:30am. In keeping with tradition, Governor Chokchai visited several places on the island, including the City Pillar Shrine in Thalang, the Heroines’ Monument on Thepkrasattri Road, and the Luang Por Cham statue at Wat Chalong. They all bang their heads on the ground in welcome and then get down to the real and serious businessof letting him in on all the scams, cheats and frauds going on on Phuket.
