Malaysia’s oilfield services provider SapuraKencana has been awarded a bulk of contracts worth $215 million in total.

First, the company has been awarded a contract by India’s ONGC to engineer, procure, construct, install and commission of 11 pipeline systems and associated topside modifications in B127 and surrounding Mumbai High fields located off the west coast of India. The contract is for a period of 20 months.

Further, SapuraKencana Drilling Asia has secured a contract by Shell in Brunei for the provision of its Tender Assist Drilling Rig SKD Pelaut. This means that Brunei Shell Petroleum will continue to use SKD Pelaut for its development drilling campaign offshore Brunei Darussalam.
