Sorry I know this question has been posted many times but I can not find recent answers.

Am going to renew visa based on supporting Thai wife later this week and wish to make sure I have everything. I have passport, new and old bank book, marriage certificate, letter from bank, hand drawn map of where we live, certificate of condo ownership, photo of us outside condo and Thai birth certificate of our 7 month old baby whom we will take with us. Could someone tell me what I have forgotten? At the bank they refused to write down in the letter what my balance was 3 months ago saying you only need letter showing balance now, they were even reluctant to include information about the money I have transferred into this country over the year. I am over 50 and this will be our second renewal if that is a factor. Thanks in advance for your help.

Don`t forget to take your Wife and copy of her ID card

I would not count on that over 50 living with child extension unless done in Bangkok with lawyer as have not seen any report of it being allowed elsewhere yet.

You need copies of everything and current 4x6cm photos. Also bank passbook and copies. Wife ID card and copy. Good to have wife home register and copy but they probably got that on first visit and will not require again.

You will need the bank to put in the letter how much money you have transfered since you opened the account, and your current balance. You need two copies of everything.

New laws, new regulations, and everyone is confused.

I did my O visa in September this year in a Thai consulate in Europe and give 1 copy of my pasport, 1 copy of my wifes pasport , copy of mariage certificate and a copy of her bank book and 2 pasphoto's and left my orginal pasport ofcourse there.

It was next day ready.

Poster is talking about an extension of stay for one year from Immigration rather than a new non immigrant visa as you obtained. Different rules.
