Does anyone know what happened to this guys Facebook page?

 

It was very good at providing up to the minute reports on flooding around Pattaya and I found it very useful during the last rainy season but now it's disappeared.

 

Even links from other websites end up nowhere.

Totally confusing.

 

"We Love Dann"?

or "Dann"?

 

"We Love Dann" on FB shows old pictures of a girl in some neat costume etc.

In some language I don't know.

 

Some more background info would help.

Definitely We Love Dann, my bookmarked page gives me "The page you requested was not found" nothing about a girl in costumes.

 

A google search returns other websites that cite We Love Dann as a source and provide a link but the links are also dead.

Dann is Thai for police checkpoint, it used to be a Thai page that give timely locations of the active police checkpoints, but it has evolved to be more local news and after police crackdown on various 'we love dann' facebook pages in Bangkok it has changed the name to 'We Love Pattaya'

Right, I believe it was originally set up to report on police check points but provided very useful info on floods in and around Pattaya.

 

I couldn't originally get into the We Love Pattaya website on my 'phone and read that it had been threatened with shutdown due to reporting on police checkpoint locations, opens fine on my PC from your link though.
