Target specific suspects based on evidence? Why would I have a problem with that. My issue is with racial profiling. Well then you have to take into account that not a small amount of people are saying this area is known to have a lot of Nigerians and Africans dealing drugs there. It was a source of joy to many business owners in that area who were fed up with the African lads crowding out their premises regularly while maybe sharing a drink or two all night taking up space needed for paying punters or loitering outside premises putting off paying customers. They made such a nuisance of themselves that some business owners went to the extent of having 'No Africans' signs in their windows. The folks who ran the impromptu late night bars on Sukhumwit were always shooing them away or refusing to serve them or let them sit down. They were all glad to see them go. There were also many tales of Africans trying to shake down punters walking with lasses by claiming to be their 'pimps' and trying to extort money from the punter sometimes with threats and intimidation so even the ladies of the night were glad to see them go. They shot themselves in the foot once before and it looks like they've not learned from the mistakes of their predecessors. As one wise man said after the last clearout ''they didn't bring anything of value or benefit to the area apart from hassles and intimidation, so they won't be missed...''
