Somsak Taeng-Orn, 34, was wanted for murder in Ratchaburi. He was the subject of several arrest warrants issued in the province in 2005 and 2011 on murder, drugs and weapons charges, reports Thairath. He was arrested Sunday in Koh Lak sub-district where he was found riding a motorcycle. He pulled out a gun and shot at police who shot back and hit him in the neck. He was taken to hospital where he is under armed guard. In his shoulder bag they found several guns, ammunition and 350 Ya Ba tablets. Police understand that he had been hiding out in woods near the Burmese border area of Nong Mai Kaen for some time. Police had previously tried to arrest him in the area but due to the wild nature of the terrain had been unable to locate him. Well known to the authorities he went by the nickname "Seau Bai". Yes, it would be the allegations that's led to the arrest warrants. Innocent until proven guilty ring any bells?

It is a ridiculous idea I must agree. Still so, I would not bet my last money on that it would not happen here
Dexlowe
Something is wrong with this plot. They normally "escape" after shooting back at police, don't they? Ahhh ... forgot, bullet wound ... of course ... lucky shot made it difficult for him to get back on his bike and toddle off, munching an apple under a withering hail of bullets by the surrounding posse.
