My visa situation ,regarding a 30 day exempt stamp at the Airport query . ?

Featured Replies

For several years i have lived in Thailand with a non immigrant O multiple entry  visa ,by reason of having a Thai spouse .I am currently in Australia (Brisbane area ) on what you could call an extended  holiday .Returning to Thailand at the end of this month .May only be there a month if i can get another Australian visa .

Q.  Should i be ok for a 30 day visa exempt ?( on Irish passport ,and herd reports that i may not get one as they query my return when before i had a non imm O etc .) .Also if i have to stay longer than 30 days can i get a 30 day extension .( i know before it was only 7 days ,then it changed to 30 days ,then a new Tourist visa come in ) .

  • If the Multiple Entry Non 'O' visa has expired it will have no impact on you getting a Visa Exempt Entry. If it hasn't expired they will use the visa and give you 90 days.
  • Yes you can get a 30 day extension from Immigration for 1,900 baht.

No problem for you to get a visa exempt entry since you have not a apparently done one in some time.

You can get a 30 day extension of the entry.

Thanks lads .That is a relief .

just be careful that you could be denied boarding if you do not have an air ticket out of Thailand within 30 days of arriving
