October 11, 20169 yr Greetings, I will be taking a short trip to Vietnam in November, and need to board my dog for a few days. Can anyone recommend a good place in Pattaya or the vicinity? Thank you in advance.

October 12, 20169 yr A perennial issue for many dog owners, here are two threads with plenty of information. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/925553-good-dog-boarding-kennels-on-the-dark-side/ and http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/811687-dog-hotel-kennels-in-the-pattaya-area/ It would be helpful if an admin could merge these threads and add them to the pinned topics, as this question keeps on coming up.

Thank you for the information. Sorry if I asked a quite common question...I've had the experience that many businesses here drop out of sight often, so I thought I'd ask anew.

No problem, you're quite right and if you read those two threads you'll see that one or two of the recommended kennels have indeed gone out of business. As I understand it, there's now just three good kennels left in the area that people are recommending. That makes things relatively simple, I suppose. I always try and leave my little pooch with a friend or family as she loves company and wouldn't be happy in a kennel, but that has entailed an expensive taxi ride for the dog up to Sa Kaeo in the past.
