BANGKOK: -- The Thai edition of popular Korean television show "Let Me In Thailand" has kicked off its second season with the transformation of two Thai women, who were flown off to South Korea to go under the knife.

The season started with Jitraporn Panboo, a college student who said she, "didn’t have a chin.”

Studying hotel and tourism management, Jitraporn said it would be difficult for her to have a career since the industry hires based on good looks, adding she had been teased for her appearance all her life.

"At university, people look at me and laugh. I feel like some kind of monster,” Jitraporn said.

looks like the major issue was maloclusion  (relative position of her upper jaw to lower jaw, her teeth crooked.  note the before and after are also set differently. hairstyle, makeup, less of a smile.  overall an improvement but it seems it was the orofacial surgeon rather than plastic that had the most impact. also the dentist

I find the difference in Western and Asian mind sets fascinating about plastic surgery. In the West they often try to pretend that they haven't had any, but in Asia they discuss it openly and are usually happy to admit to it.

It is no secret attractive people do better in life, as such can see no reason why people shouldn't try to improve their looks if they wish.

The down side of this is if she has off spring they'll look like the 'pre op' Mum and not the new Mum.

.

Only if she decides to have the child with her Father      FHT................:coffee1:

i am very anti plastic surgery however i have to admit that only the improved version would be able to get any money out of me.

Are you considering donating to her costs of facial improvement or suggesting she would attempt to get money from you for some other more obvious reason?

Your comment also has me scratching my head. Mr Spock would say it's illogical.

Yes that's true Rorri.....maybe I have Spock mixed up with Sherlock,  ...:omfg:

Just amazed me that  FHT is still working it out,  that if she married  Brad Pitt , then the child wouldn't look like she did pre opp, to achieve getting near  that she would have to go with one half of the team that gave her that unusual  pre opp look.......... etc

.

Anyway must be nice for her to look in the mirror now...happy ending.

I think it's awesome. If you can afford it and it makes you happy then who gives a shit what ThaiVisa members thinks.  The down side of this is if she has off spring they'll look like the 'pre op' Mum and not the new Mum.

Some Chinese bloke divorced his missus when he found out she had ugly genes. The court in China thought it was a good enough reason for divorce.

Ugly missus
I recall reading that story their offspring were all hideous and the father had to feed the kids with a catapult.

In this day and age one should require proof of previous school pictures and ensure you did an identity parade of her family.
