We do hear a lot of these machinations here but they are usually dead end comments. i.e. I will be on the next rocket ship to Mars. Its talk about this talk about that here but its all talk in the end. Add a uniform and a few medals and its almost believable. Any prospective politician will hesitate before putting any of his "skin" in this loaded game. Its like playing Russian roulette and all the chambers contain bullets.

They could, but remember, the military have the numbers, in alny "elected" government, also any government that trys to void the "constitution " will face yet anothEr coup, it is the military that really controls Thailand.

Accountability, responsibility, culpability are not in the Thai vocabulary atm unless you are a deposed PM. Buy an extra 3 submarines.

As military men they should be aware of one of the rules of command which is,

You can delegate your authority but not your responsibility.

 

Doesn't seem to apply here and likely never will.
