Do you have a copy of Bangkok Post/Nation 14 Oct issue?

Hi,

I am looking for complete (i.e. all sub sections and supplements) copies of the 14 October print issues of the Bangkok Post and The Nation for archiving purposes.

If you've got either, please PM me.

I'll pay 100 Baht for each copy plus postage.

The copies must be in "as new" condition.

From what I think, an e-version is not what he wants.
He's after the printed ones, hoping that they increase value due to the special occasion, trying to make profit out of the decease of the beloved King of Thailand.
People are collecting stamps, coins, cars, art - in order to make a profit from it.
So, why not an "as new" version of those special editions?
If it would be just for reading purpose, an e-version or "non-as new" would be good enough. [emoji6]
But he'll probably get back here and explain that he just frames the newspapers, puts them on a wall and enjoys looking at them. [emoji6]
(No offence intended, I'm just posting my thoughts about it.)

Your assumption and "thoughts", Sir, are wrong,. I am a journalist (you can actually check with the government public relations department; my Thai press card no. is 2740) and I keep an extensive archive for reference purposes. E-editions eventually disappear from the web and downloading doesn't give me the full edition including all supplements, that's why I need print copies. Unfortunately I was unable to obtain the 14 October issues of these two newspapers and the editorial departments of both the Bangkok Post and The Nation haven't yet replied to my request.

Misterwhisper, I'm sure that you are relieved that Khunpin now approves of the reason for your OP.

Yes, I am. He's such an authority. And from now on I shall have all my posts green-lighted by khunpin first before publishing them. It seems the safe thing to do to prevent him from pondering too many "thoughts" and arriving at quirky assumptions.
