Red 18

Featured Replies

So again i was stopped at immigration and directed to supervisor, when i entered Thailand through BKK. Again i had to tell my story why it says 18 entries in a Red rectangular on the computer. And they all gather looking at my passport and trying to calculate all my arrivals and departures. So my question here is.

Will a new Swedish passport erase those entries or does the passport have same ID number?

I also have a Serbian passport. I never used it anywhere. Will that help solve my problem? Or do they track me through my name or fingerprints?

Or do i just keep on smiling and go with my old passport. Im kinda worried because i am going to Thailand for New Year with my daughter that is 15y and dont want to have any issues.

I assume that means you have obtained 18 visa exempt entries since they started the alert at 6 of them.

Getting a new passport will not erase them since they will link your old passport records to the new one.

If you used your Serbian passport you would need to have a tourist visa in order to enter the country since it would not allow you a visa exempt entry.

To insure you do not have a problem t I suggest you get a single entry tourist visa for you next trip.
