The National Archives makes over 30,000 photographs of His Majesty the King available for free download

  

BANGKOK, 21 October 2016 (NNT) - The National Archives is making over 30,000 rare photographs of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej available on its website for free downloading. 

Minister of Culture Vira Rojpojchanarat said the images date back to early years of His Majesty and his lifelong royal activities across the country. The images are available for free download on www.finearts.go.th/nat. The images will also be compiled into CDs for worldwide dissemination. 

Mr Vira said the images were made available to enhance awareness of His Majesty’s life and work. Those that wish to incorporate the images in businesses are required to coordinate with the National Archives by calling 02-281-1599, extension 237.
