The building is located in the Khao Tao reservoir that is a royally initiated project. Headof the local administration Noppaporn Wuthikun said that the commemorative sala would have a grand opening ceremony on its completion when members of the public will be able to attend to pay their respects and give thanks to His Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej. The reservoir is part of nationwide royal projects to provide drinking water and promote tourism and the facility is expected to attract many visitors.
