NRSA to discuss draft senate election law Oct 27

 

  

BANGKOK, 25 October 2016 (NNT) - The National Reform Steering Assembly has set a date to resume the deliberation of the draft law related to the origin of the Senate. 

NRSA member Nikorn Chamnong, who is the chairman of the NRSA committee on the political reform, said the committee has already reached a conclusion on the details of the draft senate election law, which will be brought up for further deliberation on Tuesday before the NRSA whip reviews them on October 27. 

He added that the NRSA has planned to host a seminar to discuss the draft organic laws on the Election Commission and the origin of the Senate on November 25. 

Mr. Nikorn said that committee chairman Seree Suwannapanon will share all ideas on both drafts to the participants of the seminar while he will attend the event as a representative of the Chart Thai Pattana Party.

origin of the Senate, election of the Senate, ... not the same thing, NNT... 

If they have already reached a conclusion on the details of the draft senate election law, then there is hardly any need that it be brought up for further deliberation !!!
