Egypt’s Al-Azhar University mourns Thailand’s beloved King

CAIRO: -- A leading university in Egypt has joined in the mourning of Thailand’s most beloved king.

Al-Azhar University, Egypt’s leading university located in Cairo, has just organized a graduation ceremony for the 2015-2016 school year, the National News Bureau of Thailand, reported today.

The ceremony has been planned for the country’s highest religious leader and also for around 500 Thai students.

As part of the ceremony, all who were present took part in a mass prayer for HM the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej while the university presented a video clip, which showed various royal activities the highly-revered king had overseen for Thai Muslims, NNT said.
