rooster59 Posted October 29, 2016 Share Posted October 29, 2016 Military join forces with Samui authorities to enforce trading laws in Chaweng Image: Daily News Military forces from Surat Thani province joined forces with the Samui local administration yesterday to compel illegal traders in Chaweng to obey the law. The inspection party acting under public order ordinances went to the area of Beach Road Chaweng where they found many businesses operation on an 8 rai area of private land. The businesses had no permission to be there. They included business premises, restaurants, tour companies and shops. Owners were obliged to sign papers acknowledging the order that they must seek legal permission to be there within 30 days or face eviction.
