Oily Skin And Hair

Featured Replies

Ladies I need a little help please..

My Thai lady friend has a bad oily facial skin problem..

She wears very little make up and gets a couple of

nasty pimples at period time..She is 37 years old..

She overindulges in Sweets and Cookies and is putting on weight as well..

I believe an over indulgence in Sugar can cause this problem

is that correct ???

She also has an Oily Hair problem as well..

Any help most appreciated Thank You..

The fat increase in her diet can cause the weight gain and depending on where you live, the pollution could contribute to the oily hair & skin but generally, eating a lot of cholocate & sugar clogs up your system & causes a bad complexion and will obviously cause weight gain if she is eating more than normal.

Most women as they get older, get less oily skin so she may have some kind of hormone balance or even diabetes if she is craving sweet things (it is one of the symptoms). So unless she has always eaten a lot of sweets maybe tell her to go to the diabetes clinic that most hospitals run (tuesdays?) and get tested as weight increase, an increase in appitite & a craving for sugar are all indicators.

If this isn't the issue then she is just being greedy :D If the weight increase bothers you then let her know. If it is an importnat part of your attraction to her then she has to know that getting fat will affect that and any greasy hair & skin isn't a turn on for anyone. A change of shampoo & a trip to the dematologist may be needed too :o

I will say though that most women have some sort of weight increase as they get older as their metabolism slows down so if she isn't eating more sweets than normal & isn't doing anything differnt then this just may be her body slowing down .

Thanks Boo..The weight gain is slight and it doesnt bother me it bothers her..

Many years ago I worked as a Wella Rep and I told her to buy Lemon Shampoo and Conditioners

She just has a sweet tooth..

Oily Hair - Using Ketoconazole shampoo from time to time (as Nizoral) for solving the Seborrhea problem

if a woman has acne after her early 20s then chances are she has a hormone imbalance. if she also has weight problems then she might want to get tested for PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome).
