Tremendous crowds of mourners flocking to Sanam Luang force cancellation of queue card issuance

 

Authorities have scrapped the plan to issue queue cards to mourners to get permits into the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall to pay homage to the beloved King in front of the royal urn.

 

The cancellation of the queue card issuance followed the tremendous crowd of people packed the Sanam Luang and lined up in very long queue to get the queue numbers.

 

The First Army Region which keeps peace and order at the place said all mourners will be asked to line up in queue  instead to get permission into the throne hall.

 

But security checks of all people entering the throne hall will remain tight and unchanged.
