NSC to integrate security efforts

BANGKOK: -- THE NATIONAL Security Council (NSC) has agreed to cooperate with other security agencies in a move to integrate intelligence data, especially in relation to security threats and counter measures.

Defence spokesman Maj-General Kongcheep Tantravanich revealed the plan after meeting with the government’s working group yesterday to discuss reform in public administration in relation to security issues. 

Kongcheep said the integration process would initially be tried out next month, before agencies get fully integrated in March next year. He said integrated intelligence would facilitate the work of security agents.
