Hurricane Milton Reaches Category 4
I found a list of category 4 Atlantic hurricanes that occurred during the 20th and 21st centuries. During the 1940s there was a total of eight category 4 hurricanes. Personally with a son of that age I would think education would be priority #1. Then the couple could move after that. I am not sure but I would imagine the educational system is better in Oz. -

So, only deport after committing a felony? Misdemeanor not serious enough? And there is really no way to discover any criminal past they may have had back in their homeland. Plus the lack of cooperation offered by many local governments makes this impossible. But I am sure you agree that the first step must be to close the border to all illegals, and to keep any asylum seekers in detention until their cases can be heard. Otherwise, the government is just trying to bail out a leaky boat with a teaspoon.- 1

S/E Asian Thai Consulates going to eVisa online system effective Tuesday Oct 8th
For many folk being able to obtain eVisa for Thailand while in eg Vietnam is big win. Currently visa exempt being 60 days not such big deal however moving forward this eVisa addition good news. -

I recall Emirates doing that with a super saver Business Eco tier... or when using an Airmiles or Cash+Miles upgrade... - no lounge - no chauffeur trx - don't recall if they had priced seating or not though... -

already had one and incredibly made it home safely. For the ten thousandth time. "one"... (assuming a beer & not 'one' bottle of lao Khao)... its not drink driving then... But.... also assuming you made it home safely for the ten thousandth time... You go out and have a beer every night and drive home and have done so for 27 years and 145 days... or you exaggerate... -

I suppose I could dig the charge up if you are really that interested, it was a new class of the ticket that did not allow entry to the business lounges, but they let me in anyway at Heathrow. -

Good news from TOT, aka NT
OTT perhaps, but does anyone know if NT TOT will issue a bill in English? I need something that proves my address in English before a couple of non-Thai companies will let me open accounts with them. I just pinged them an e-mail in English, but just in case they don't answer soon (or we misunderstand each other)...
