November 4, 20169 yr Hello, I'm going to be leaving Thailand in a couple weeks. No plan to return. I have a non-im B and a work permit. Do I need to cancel my work permit or anything before I go? Thank you for your time.
November 4, 20169 yr Your employer should or will cancel the work permit since it will be on their record. If there is any chance you would be coming back and would want to get another work permit it would be in your best interest that it is done.
November 4, 20169 yr Author Thanks for the quick reply ubonjoe. I work for a large state university, so I don't think they're going to be too worried about their record. I don't have any plans to return, but don't want to burn any bridges. My main concern at this point is not having any hiccups at the airport on my way out.
November 4, 20169 yr Author ubonjoe, I was just looking at this older post of yours. Why is flying out different than border crossings?
