BANGKOK, 5 November 2015 (NNT) – The Department of Mental Health provided a special lecture on occasion of the National Mental Health Week 2016 on "Changing Sadness into Great Power ... Following in the Footsteps of the Late His Majesty the King” by the Department of Royal Aide de Camp. 

Mental Health Department Director General Boonreung Traireungworarat said that the period between 1-7 November each year marks the National Mental Health Week. This year, the Ministry of Public Health launched a campaign under the theme of "Mental First Aid..... You Can Help Others". 

An activity entitled "Changing Sadness into Great Power” was organized today at the Rajanukul Institute which was named by the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on 22 April 1979. 

The department head said that the pledge to do good deeds, perform one's duties well and follow in the footsteps of the late His Majesty the King with love and unity is to change sadness into great power which everyone can do best to maintain the wishes of the late His Majesty the King.
