Phuket Airport launches inter-terminal shuttle to alleviate delays

PHUKET:-- Officials at Phuket International Airport today (Nov 8) confirmed they are now operating a shuttle bus service from the facility’s car park in front of the new International Terminal to the Domestic Terminal.

PM says he has signed the new draft charter

BANGKOK: -- Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha said on Tuesday that he had already signed the new draft Constitution crafted by the Constitution Drafting Committee and endorsed by the National Legislative Assembly.

 

He said the draft charter was completed, endorsed and signed within the 30-day timetable.

 

The next step is for him to present the draft to the new King for final approval before it is published in the Royal Gazette and becomes effective.

 

The prime minister noted that the new King will have 90 days to see through the draft and to give the final approval.

Cabinet OKs six-month extension of free city’s bus and train services

BANGKOK: -- Transport Minister Arkhom Termpittayapaisit said Tuesday that the extension of the free bus and train services would cost the state 2,268 million baht which are divided into 1,783 million baht for 800 buses operating on 73 routes and 585 million baht nor 152 third-class trains on daily basis.

City Hall to push for construction of Gold Line in Thon Buri

BANGKOK: -- The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is pushing ahead with the Gold Line elevated rail project from Thon Buri railway station to Klongsarn district office covering a distance of 2.68 kilometres estimated to cost 3.8 billion baht.

BANGKOK: -- THE APPEALS Court yesterday upheld a life sentence for a serial child murderer in his 30s known only as “Nui”, or “Ting Tang”, for sodomising and killing a seven-year-old boy in Loei’s Wang Saphung district on November 10, 2013. The defendant has not been identified by either a surname or registration number.
