An economy in overall productive decline and propped  up  by zero interest rates and prolific  production  of  paper  "money".

"Selling" to the  USA  in economic reality  requires the USA to have  true equity in the value of the $US. The people of the USA  have  let themselves  be sold out. Now is  crunch time.  Now is  real world  time. You think Trump is  of the real world?

It is the  supremist  attitude  of the USA  that  is  now at question.

The  global danger is whether or  not that is  solved by global  humanitarian  concerns  or  simple minded greed  for wealth for  an elite  minority.

"Now" is for the USA to prove it is a protector  or  an adversary in in its  own interest only. Given  its  record in  dominerence  and invasiveness it  is hard to imagine it will  take any conciliatory  course.

Ya sure you know your stuff.

USA's National debt is some 19.8 Trillion dollars 47% which is held by foreign Countries. If the USA follows a much more Insular Nationalistic approach how will they pay if this debt is called in and what would it do to the US and World economies = Major recession and World economic collapse which has been planned for 50 years. Who wins the Oligarchs and Puppet masters behind the scenes. Prepare for a roller coaster World this will be one hell of a ride. Yee haaah

The U.S. debt is more than $19 trillion. Most headlines focus on how much the U.S. owes China, which is one of the largest foreign owners. Fewer people know that the Social Security Trust Fund, aka your retirement money, owns most of the national debt.

The debts wont be called in,certainly not all at once, doing so would trash their worth instantly, therein lies a problem, China and Japan have bought an enormous amount of debt but cant use it, it's dead money. What is the point of buying more? They can offload, gently and softly over many years but even that would trash the American economy if nobody else buys treasuries straight from the USA. It's all a question of confidence in the ponzi scheme, virtually no country can pay off their national debt, they pay the interest and hope that inflation and growth decrease the debt, trouble is that there is almost no growth and everyone is still piling on the debt

Markets need to stand on their own feet, whatever that means for valuations. Stimulus is necessary in emergency situations but it should not be relied on to enrich small percentages of the population to the detriment of the remaining population.

I believe market can stand on their own feet, when it has not been burdened too much. After a certain point markets start to work abnormally. This abnormality usually makes the rich people richer and pushes the rest downer.

Socialist alternative activists are now up in arms about Trump winning and are protesting in over 7 cities, citing that they are fearful about his presidency.  Just look at who are protesting, mostly young people, African Americans and Latinos.  Don't they have a job, maybe unemployed and on government handouts or are they on holidays from University?  How can the country unify, in particular when the MSNM are carrying on with their usual divisive rhetoric and going back over old ground about what Trump did or didn't say in the past and also slinging off at the non-educated voters that turned out for Trump? I don't know all the States where these protests are occurring but it appears that many are blue states, so where is Hillary now and why isn't she telling them to stop?

The hatred and disdain b y the socialist left and media is so evident even after the event but at least they're not shouting, yet.  They are a little subdued but still gaggle on and are trying a more subtle approach but it is easily seen through.  What is wrong with these people, they guy has only been President-Elect for two days, has no powers and is not the President until January 20th 2017, yet they are not prepared to wait and give him a go and see what he does in the first one hundred days.  He can be held accountable but he is there for 4 years and has indicated he is there for all Americans so these activists should shut up and give him a go

One wonders what their protests will accomplish.  I know, just a lot on inconvenience for their fellow citizens. They're also yelling profanities about Trump, Pence, Giuliani and that Trump is not their President.  They are burning flags, starting to throw things, writing profanities over buses, they are just a pack or sore losers.  Even one, who was interviewed is telling Hillary to take the matter to the Supreme Court, because she got more votes than Trump.  If these loses don't like the system, then change it and stop whining.  There was one female Hispanic who was calling for Trump to be impeached and stated that there will be deaths on both sides as people need to die to makes things right.  No wonder America is divided when people like this are given a voice, it is those types, the immigrants, who are the ones who continue to divide the country as they cannot get their own way.

Whilst watching CNN, the interviewed Latinos, mostly from South America who are also whining about him and the problems that they had to escape from in their homeland.  To them, like a lot of immigrants, world wide, they bring their troubles with them and carry on instead of trying to assimilate and fit into general society.  If they don't like it, then maybe they have other alternatives.  Those activists are from the me, me, me group and obviously  do not respect the system.  Why, maybe a lot of them will lose some of the handouts that the country , like many others, cannot afford.  The days of the gimme, without contribution, must come to an end and they should get of their backside, like those who voted for Trump and earn a living.

No matter what anyone says, Trump was a genius, he pulled of something from right under the noses of those who denigrated him for over a year, more so in the latter part of this year.  He was able to beat the Clinton machine, the MSNM, 16 Republican candidates, The Never Trump Movement, who were mainly Republican elites, the wacky Hollywood lot, and those other superpacs and their billionaire backers.   Even as it goes on now, the MSNM, in particular CNN, are given time to people, who obviously dislike Trump and are actively encouraging the protests, and giving them time to vent their anger and hatred.  None of the buffoons saw it coming, they all failed miserably and even those polls, which were total BS and designed to keep Trump voters home.  The arrogance of the Clintons , they even had their celebration planned,  Absolutely fell in a heap.  They are also saying  that they do not accept the result.  Just a pack of sorrowful losers.  So they should all get over it, Trump won, his party have control of the senate and congress, so just suck it up.  :wai:

Hillary Clinton's political career is now OVER. BIGLY.

She gave a speech already accepting that trump is president and that the people should accept that atrocious outcome and have an open mind about him (until the subtext being he majorly mucks things up which everyone knows he will). She's not the boss of protesters. She's not the leader of her party anymore.

I don't see much point in the street protests now but as trump starts to enact specific horrific policies, such as kicking off 20 million people from health care (including a large portion that are in critical need of it) THEN that's when people need to step up the visible resistance. trump LEGALLY won the election, even though he lost the popular vote. There is no rational basis to protest about that. But just wait, and not too long until he's actually president and actually does some of the idiotic destructive things he has promised to do.

Remember, no problem if he won. BIG problem if he had lost.

We heard him.

You're joking right?  We don't HAVE to imagine.  It's how baby Gore and his supporters reacted after he lost the election in 2000.

No. It isn't. Don't bother with your revisionist history attempts.

To add, personally I am OK with the electoral college.

What I'm not OK with is gerrymandering of congressional districts. Talk about a swamp that needs draining!

The kiddies, the SJWs, the BLMers, the Trots, the anarchists, and the Sorosistas are out calling for revolution.  They might want to be careful about that.  It's the other side that has weapons and knows how to use them. And just block all the interstate highways for a week, and watch these warrior princesses fold up faster than a college dean or professor.

So true, but I have to admit that I mislead everyone about there being no shouting coming from the MSNM.  I just threw the remote at the TV.    Those CNN commentators and hosts, they are unbelievable.  Mr Trump has only been President -Elect for a couple of days and here is the 4 Trump haters on the CNN panel spending the last hour and a half denigrating everything about Mr Trump. .

Two female haters shouting and squawking like chooks in a hen yard, one African American Trump hater, all chaired by another biased African American, the host, Don Lemon. The yelling and talking over the Trump supporters was unbelievable and not given Trump a go as he is not even in office yet.  Says a lot about the unification these people are calling for.:wai:

Good thing the Americans have a new president but it will not solved their economical problems like 30 trillions dollars in the hole give me a break never but never they will pay that off next thing we will see the US are going bankruptcy.

Trump is a show man with no knowledge on how to run a country as big as the US.

So all he had promised or said about prosecuting Clinton and all of the bla bla bla we will see a very unstable country from now on.

The failed ACA would be very close to the top of the list on reasons for defeat.  Also, notice Trumps strongest support (income wise) came from those in households making 50-100K per year...you really can't get much more middle class than that in America, and that is the group that has seen their health insurance costs go from 1000 per month to 2000 per month is four years, with a much higher deductible.  A single mom with two kids in Pennsylvania making 29K per year is not one penny better off until she makes 70K per year.  It would really make the Scandinavians blush.

You're seriously exaggerating. In reality only a very small percentage of Americans are subject to those admittedly horribly high premiums. Wealthier people with too much income to qualify for SUBSIDIES that do NOT get insurance from employers (the majority of Americans do). But yes trump played that scare tactic very well ...

The subsidies end at about 60K...that's well below the median household incomes of people living near well paying job centers.  Look at school districts....they cover one, but not the whole family.  People like bus aides and food service workers can owe money on payday, if they enroll their families in the plan.

I'm not suggesting it isn't a big problem for those that it impacts (those buying their own plans without subsidies) but I am saying that trump (and you) wildly exaggerate the number of people that does actually impact. Most Americans under 65 still get insurance through employers. I am not denying this helped trump and the TIMING of those shocking increases on that group was fantastic for him.

My sister has 180 employees.  The company offers to pay half of the health insurance premiums.  Only 8 employees participate, as it would still cost them over 250 per month.  The employees are exempt from penalties because the premiums are more than a certain percentage of their pay...I think she said 11.5%.  She has tried to get other companies to come and offer a group plan, but with such low participation; they won't even come talk to her.  So the employees can vote with their feet and work elsewhere, but the free insurance would likely cut their pay a few bucks per hour...so they choose to go uninsured.  Ironically, this is a part of the health care industry in liberal Minnesota.
