Thai youth shoots at police then falls through roof in drugs bust

NAKHON SI THAMMARAT: -- Police in Nakon Si Thammarat arrested eight youths who were taking Ya Ba and Krathom tea at a drugs partry in a house in Pho Sadet district.

 

During a raid on Wednesday many of the youths jumped out of back windows in an effort to flee. One 19 year old climbed onto a roof and took a shot at officers, reports Thairath.

 

The roof gave way and he was arrested along with seven others.

 

Ten Ya Ba tablets, 1.5 litres of tea, five vehicles and the Thai made gun and a bullet were taken into evidence.

 

Five youths were aged 16 and the rest were 19. The raid followed a tip off that the house was being used for a drugs part by a gang called "Pa Phraw".

 

The nineteen year old with the gun said he had bought it on Facebook for 4,000 baht for his own protection.

 

All tested positive for drugs in their urine.

I wonder if daddy is active daily, or ever, in terms of educating these kids in regard to values, right vs wrong, developing their opportunities, etc.

 

No doubt in some cases these kids are directly and actively copying daddy and uncle, etc.
