planemad
Hi everyone, I hope someone can identify this tree for me, it is quite beautiful and seems to bloom for most of the year, in fact it has just flowered within the last few weeks. I cannot find any reference to it on Google (probably using wrong search). Any information would be great, especially Thai name, but common name would be fine, also, conditions to grow it and how to propogate. Thanking you all in advance. Planemad. You are right, the color of flowers and foliage does resemble some Lagerstroemia varieties, but note the distinctive shape and split leaf leaf tip and orchid-like flowers in the photos of the orchid tree. I can't remember the Thai name.
