Employers in fishing and seafood industries told to bring their employees for registration

Employers of migrant workers from Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar employed in fishing and seafood processing industries are warned to bring them for registration in order to renew their work permits now until December 30 failing that both the employers and employees will face legal actions.

IMF approves $12 billion loan to salvage Egypt's economy

CAIRO (AP) — The International Monetary Fund said on Friday that its executive board has approved a three-year bailout totaling $12 billion to Egypt, to support the country's ailing economy — a move intended to restore investor confidence and raise the country's foreign reserves.
