SRI RACHA: -- Rescue teams took three hours to rescue a Thai man who fell and broke his arm and severely injured his leg at a Sri Racha waterfall on Sunday.

Nattaporn Waphatthai, 20, was finally carried out to safety on a stretcher and taken to the Somdej  Phraborom Ratchathewi Hospital.

He had fallen onto rocks at the fourth level of the Chantaten waterfall in the Khao Khiaw - Khao Chompu wildlife reserve in Bang Phra district of Sri Racha, Chonburi, reported Daily News.

He had yelled for help and was unable to move because of his injuries.

Emergency first aid was carried out by the Phiaw Yiang Thai Sri Racha rescue group before the team managed the long process of carrying him out successfully from the rather inaccessible area.
