PHUKET: -- Two suspects wanted in connection with the shooting of a Patong policeman’s son on Sunday night (Nov 13) surrendered to police yesterday (Nov 14). Both men denied the allegations made against them.

Maj Col Natthaya Suwanpong of the Phuket City Police was informed by staff from Mission Hospital at 7:30pm on Sunday that a man, named as 21-year-old Thanapon Chusawad, had died while being transported to the hospital following a shooting incident close to British International School, Phuket (BISP).

A friend of the victim, Yutranan Jitchareon, 21, told police that he and Mr Thanapon had gone to an area close to BISP to discuss with a debt collector a B500 debt they owed.

Lt Col Nareuordin Pangleesen, an investigator from Phuket City Police Station confirmed to The Phuket News today (Nov 15) that 35-year-old Pademchai “X” Chaichana, and Kan “Meuk” Phuthalang, 22, surrendered at 4pm yesterday.

Surrendered but deny they did it? Why no typical confession. Think they might change their story soon, after being in police custody for a while.

Just blame the victims friend / boy friend

He has all the makings of a looser  :shock1:

Eye shadow and all

They're not denying the shooting, but claiming self defense.

I wonder if the son "borrowed" his father's police identification so he, and his friend, could do a "shake down."

Asked what was behind the shooting, Lt Col Nareuordin told The Phuket News that he was told the issue stemmed from a B500 tattoo, no other details were available.

That couldn't be one of those infamous "bullet-proof tattoos"? Nah, too ironic...

PHUKET:-- Police yesterday arrested and charged two men suspected of killing a police officer’s son near the British International School in Koh Kaew on Sunday night.

The manhunt began after Thanapol Choosawat was shot dead by unknown assailants, allegedly over a debt of 500 baht (approx USD 14.00).

The two suspects, named by police as Padermchai Chaichana, 35, and Kan Phothalang, 22, both walked into the Phuket City Police Station and surrendered at 4pm yesterday. Based on the arrest warrants, they were charged with premeditated murder, attempted murder, illegal possession of a firearm, and carrying a firearm in public without permission.

As usual.

That's why Phuket is lawless for those who are connected here.  They own the police, and should such police not yield to their requests, a transfer to "an inactive post" awaits - in other words, toe OUR line on Phuket, or you're out.

It will be interesting to find out just how inaccurate your claim is, wait and see.

Lets face it, no great loss to society

1 dead,

1 soon to be dead and

2 go to jail for 1 month
