BANGKOK: -- Hua Mark police are determined to find the woman who was videoed on the boot of a car in Rama 9 Road on Sunday.

Yesterday they called in the person who took the footage to get a lead in the case as it emerged there is another video of the mystery boot rider.

Orawan Pheuakchaisong said the woman was sitting very still. Her only movement was to wave her on at one point.

Then she once again became still. Orawan told police it was a Toyota Altis taxi but police don't think it was a taxi because of the plates.

The video was taken at 6.30pm.

And in a latest development Daily News online reported that another clip has emerged of what they believe is the same car with the same woman in the black and white striped dress on the boot.

This second footage was taken in the Patanakarn area of the city at 5.40pm.

Police said the behavior was dangerous to both the woman herself and other road users and they intend to find her.

Yup, definitely a ghost.

Another video of the girl and the taxi.

Not more dangerous than driving against traffic or racing a motorbike without headlight. See that happening every night every minute and the police don't care at all.

What do they want the cameraman for, attitude adjustment for defaming Thighland?

To be fair, there isn't a huge amount of difference between that and cramming people in the backs of pickups, which happens EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Maybe post more video's of people running red lights, and that might peak the police to take action, on a daily occurrence ,all over Thailand, have had many close calls myself over  the years,it happens because they know there's no police about.

Here's a mystery for you, every time a V.I.P. comes to my area, there is a policeman placed at every junction, small soi,to stop traffic to enable the motorcade to move quickly, after they have passed, where do the police go, as the only time you really see them after that is at road blocks.

Nice work, police.

With all the other dangerous things that happen a million times a day that you simply don't care about, make a big song and dance about some bird sat on the back of a car. Way to get lots of publicity and have people think that you actually do police work.

Hopefully by tomorrow we can have the whole Hua Mark police force in a line behind this mystery car rider. All of you pointing and taking pics for an hour while the carnage continues outside on the roads.

I agree with worgeordie above.  Nothing is too good for a VIP when the police flood the roads.  Driving home from Pattaya twice a week I see or don't see scores of motor bike riders with no lights.  I never see a policeman except during the daylight hours when they are too busy collecting 'fines' to check lights.

A lot of publicity ... hope this is not going to generate copy-cat attention-seekers.

But what about the "Red-Light" jumpers ?

1000's of dead and accidents caused by this.

Nah. Forget it.

Let's waste our time with this offence.

And let's also forget all the pick-ups loaded with passengers in the back section, which is exactly the same, yet with many more at risk.

For this story we have to give thanks to the power of "social media" ........errr......."bird in skimpy outfit".

Not really any more dangerous than the daily occurrence of multiple people hanging out the back of massively overloaded songtaew's - hanging on by one arm on the overhead rail as the driver snakes through traffic practically doing a wheelie due to the amount of weight in the back. Quite often school kids in shorts and T-shirts.

Not sure what the big fuss is about.

She's probably a lorry drivers mate during the day, most of whom have great experience of sitting on top of the vehicle or sleeping on the tailgate.

have to wonder if the camera man is not a bit nervous. seems reporting crime is also considered a crime.

She may have castophobia  in a car 5555

Wow.

That's called correct use of policeforce

Methinks you will find more dangerous people behind the wheel of a car here than one sticking out of a car boot.

"Yesterday they called in the person who took the footage to get a lead in the case as it emerged there is another video of the mystery boot rider."

Honestly, have they not got better things to do?

I guess checking the plate is too difficult for the BiB.

Im falling in love with this girl. :heart_001:

Most important remains though: has she eaten yet???

Thighland??? ?

Find the pick-up with 10 kids in the back, some sitting on top of the tailgate panel,  that passed me going 130kmh yesterday. What a silly place this is.

Easy now, don't want to breakdown the interweb.

The loss of face is such an amazing, powerful concept here. I must remember that, if I ever need the police, to do their job.

Looks to me she is trying to get inside the taxi but the driver does not let her in.

She decided to climb onto the back instead?

The reasons could be many!Would be nice to hear her story.

Could the reason for so many police being posted in high visibility locations when VIP's plan to use a particular route be that the police know who the really dangerous road-users are?
