Johnniey
My youngest daughter is 17 and she is going to the UK soon. I just found out her passport is out of date. Does she have to go to Bangkok and that place in soi 13 that I've heard about by herself or can I go for her? Or is there some kind of service that will do all this for me/her? Link to comment

Johnniey
If using a courier service, do they get a letter from the UK embassy to show the immigration when transerring visas into the new passport? Link to comment

They only transfer extensions of stay, not visas. Is your daughter in Thailand on an extension in an expired UK passport or is she Thai? If she is Thai then immigration here will never need to see her UK passport and the letter will not be needed. Link to comment

That's what I meant - extension of stay. Actually, she won't need the letter as she is not on any visa, being Thai. Link to comment
